At the end of June, Stephen will be speaking on the work of Boaventura Cardoso at the African Literature Association conference in Nairobi, Kenya. At the end of July he will be speaking on the cultural politics of translating Romanian fiction into English at the International Comparative Literature Association conference in Seoul, South Korea.
