Stephen’s short story “Road Accidents” appears in the Winter 2008 issue of The New Quarterly.

The opening section of Stephen’s short story “MacAnally’s Z” has been selected as a reading  comprehension test for high school students in the state of Maryland. The Educational Testing Service will be reprinting this section of the story in an edition of 450,000 copies!

Stephen’s essay “Writing in Canadian: The Problem of the Novel,” which appeared in When Words Deny the World, will be reprinted later this year in Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism, Volume 206 by Gale Publishing in Detroit.

Stephen’s column “White Curtains,” originally published in Geist # 55,  was reprinted in October 2007 in The Active Reader: Strategies for Academic Reading and Writing (Oxford University Press), edited by Eric Henderson.
